Montenegro Touted as the Next Global Property Hotspot
MONTENEGRO, 2012/12/11 Montenegro, a comparative dot on the Adriatic Sea in Southeastern Europe, is being touted by the World Travel & Tourism Council as potentially having the fastest growing tourism sector in the world over the next 10 years. Founded in 1852, Montenegro, loosely translated as Black Mountain, has an estimated people of only 625,000 spread over 5,000 square miles. The country has a coast on the Adriatic Sea to the southwest and is bordered by Croatia to the west, Bosnia and Herzegovina to the northwest, Serbia to the northeast and Albania to the southeast.
