Finland's merchandise trade deficit decreased
FINLAND, 2013/10/08 Finland's merchandise trade deficit decreased in August from the previous month, data released by the Customs Office showed Tuesday. August's foreign trade resulted in a deficit of EUR190 million, which was lower than the EUR375 million shortfall seen in July. In August 2012, the balance was a deficit of EUR141 million. Goods exports fell 11 % annually to EUR4.41 billion in August. Shipments to the European Union nations dropped 8 %, and dispatches to the Eurozone decreased by 5 %.
