Iraqi market opens any minute at this time for Jordanian agricultural products
JORDAN, 2014/01/04 The Iraqi market will any minute at this time be opened to Jordanian agricultural products, with the move compensating the farmers from the Kingdom who stopped exporting their products to Syria, Secretary General of the Agriculture Ministry Radi Tarawneh said. He told Petra that the security situation in Syria prevented the export of agricultural products to the neighboring country, noting that Jordan imports agricultural products from Lebanon through Syria, to maintain a balance in the prices of vegetables and fruits that had risen sharply recently.
